Chicks With Sticks On Display

Aren't we impressive as a group? For the month of April the Hopkinton Public Library knitting group "Chicks With Sticks" was given the display case at the library to show off our work. We received many, many compliments and have even enticed some new knitters to join us. You should know that a good many of our knitters have been knitting for just over a year and are already turning out beautiful sweaters, bags and baby items! The library featured us on their home page and allowed us to also display the library's knitting book collection as an added incentive.

Chicks With Sticks meets at the Hopkinton Public Library every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm and we welcome all knitters and potential knitters to join us. All genders, ages and levels of ability are welcome and knitting lessons are free!

Thanks to everyone who allowed us to display their knitting and thanks to all who stopped by to let us know how lovely it all looked. We look forward to another display in the future.

Perhaps after we have all knitted up the purchases we are anticipating making at the New Hampshire Sheep & Wool Festival...hhhmmmmm?
